Tina Nelms Boson has been a faithful and dedicated Minister of Music, musician, and songwriter for over twenty-five years starting with her Christian foundation from Antioch MBC, Rev, F. N. Williams. Most of her adult life she served under the leadership of Pastor R. R. Hartwell at Pisidia MBC, Pastor Christopher Hartwell at CrossRoads Community Church, as well as at Galilee MBC where Pastor Byron Wyatt is Pastor. She currently serves as the Minister of Music and the First Lady of New Hope MBC under the leadership of her husband, Rev. Darrel Boson.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Sam Houston State University, she further completed her MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s of Arts in Christian Leadership from Liberty University Seminary School. Tina, along with her husband, obtained their License in Christian Counseling from Christian Bible Institute Seminary. Mrs. Boson has worked for almost twenty years within the Human Resources / Talent Acquisition department for several industries such as Healthcare, Engineering, Finance, and Food Distribution. Additionally, she has exercised her entrepreneurial skills as the Co-Owner of King’s Kid Apparel and King’s Kid Ministries. She aspires to offer Human Resources Consulting, Career Coaching, as well as Christian Counselling services for ministries, organizations, and businesses that honor true integrity.
Mrs. Boson has strongly displayed her commitment to Christ through her musical gifts of singing and playing with several national recording artists such as Kathy Taylor, V. Michael McKay, Chester D. T. Baldwin, and many others. Furthermore, she has traveled abroad teaching her original gospel songs at the Gospel Music Workshop of America. She is described and known for her radical yet engaging approach in counseling youth and young adult women into becoming what God designed us to be in this season. Likewise, she has launched the Hopeful Women Conference in Houston, Texas where she motivates others to remember the motto “Failure is Not An Option”. Recently, she had the privilege to collaborate with an amazing team of women to be co-author of an audio book “You Got This” that will be available on Amazon and many other digital platforms in September 2020. Mrs. Boson is currently working on her solo artist CD to showcase her musical talents while spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.
Overall, Tina is inspired by all the testimonies that God has given her and all of her God-children. More than anything, she appreciates the encouragement from her son Braxton, the foundation from her Parents Mr. & Mrs. Nelms, and the unconditional love and support from her husband and Pastor Darrel W. Boson; while realizing only what you do for Christ will last.
Congratulations to Lady Tina Nelms Boson on her great accomplishment in contributing the knowledge and wisdom that God has blessed her with to Co-author this book.
